    • Germany: BBA changes to JKI

      The federal research centres of the German Federal Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (BMVEL) have been re-organised. The three research centres which dealt with plants were merged at January 1, 2008. The new name for the organisation is the Federal Research Centre for Cultivated Plants - Julius Kuehn Institute.
