Grants for ICPC scientists now available

May 13, 2009

ENDURE has launched an international call for applications for grants for two scientists from International Cooperation Partner Countries (ICPC) who wish to spend a period of up to three months working at one of the network's universities or research institutions.

The grants include travel (up to a maximum of €1,000 for one return trip from the home institution to the ENDURE hosting institution) and accommodation and living expenses. In addition, contributions will also be made to the expenses of the hosting institutions.

The grants are part of ENDURE's efforts to actively encourage the participation of partners outside Europe in its activities, particularly in addressing crop protection problems relevant to agricultural products being exported to Europe and the potential movement of exotic pests across borders.

Scientists wishing to apply for the grants can find full details on the external mobility pages. Applications must be made before July 1, 2009.
