ENDURE has released details of its grant scheme which will allow scientists from INCO (International Cooperation Target Countries) to spend time at one of ENDURE’s participating research or university institutions.
The grants will allow two scientists working in relevant crop protection research areas to spend up to three months at an ENDURE institution ( click here for details of ENDURE participants). The grants are designed to foster the exchange of knowledge between INCO countries and ENDURE partners in order to promote sustainable crop protection research and techniques, and to share experience of complex tropical crop-pest systems which may be of benefit to European agriculture.
The research work should contribute to ENDUREâs objectives ( click here for details of ENDUREâs research activities) and applicants have until Saturday, August 9, 2008, to apply. Details of the successful candidates will be published here on the ENDURE website by Wednesday, August 20, 2008.
Grants include travel (one return trip from the home institute to the ENDURE hosting institution up to a maximum of â¬1,000) and accommodation and living expenses. In addition contributions to the expenses of the host institute will be made.
