The programme for the plenary sessions at ENDURE's first International Conference, Diversifying Crop Protection, which will be held in southern France this autumn, has now been been completed.
Daniel Lesinsky from Pesticide Action Network - Europe and Slovakia's Centre for Sustainable Alternatives is the latest name to be added to the line-up for the conference, which is being held at La Grande Motte, France, from Sunday, October 12 to Wednesday, October 15 this year.
He joins other confirmed speakers Rudy Rabbinge, Chairman of the CGIAR Science Council and Dean of Wageningen Graduate Schools, James Brown, Project Leader at the John Innes Centre, Cliff Ohmart, IPM Director at the Lodi-Woodbridge Winegrape Commission in California, and Irmgard Hoeschle-Zeledon, Coordinator of the CGIAR Systemwide IPM Program, IITA, Nigeria.
Other key speakers include Dr Roger Doig, Regional Director of DuPont Crop Protection Europe, Middle East and Africa and President of the European Crop Protection Association, and Aymeric Briand, Director of Vegetable Products, Carrefour Quality Line.
The conference's closing session will include a presentation from social scientist Niels Röling, Emeritus Professor in Communication and Innovation Studies at Wageningen University, The Netherlands.
