ENDURE partner Aarhus University is joint organiser of the Research School of Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology (RECETO) PhD summer school being held on the university's Flakkebjerg campus, 100km south-west of Copenhagen, in July. Lecturers include ENDURE Executive Committee member Per Kudsk (pictured right) from Aarhus University.
The school, organised jointly with Copenhagen University, is titled 'Bioactive Natural Compounds in Soil: Analysis, Fate and Effects' and runs from July 26 to July 31.
Organisers note: 'This course will cover the chemistry of selected groups of bioactive natural compounds from agricultural crops and wild plants, their sorption, degradation and leaching in soils, chemical analytical techniques and their suppressive effects on plants and arthropods.'
