1. HOW DO I APPLY FOR A MOBILITY PERIOD?
Mobility Plans are drawn up annually. The 4th Mobility Plan - the last one - is ongoing and the deadline for application is November 7 2009.

Both senior and junior (PhD and new post-docs) researchers are eligible.

3. HOW IS THE MOBILITY BUDGET DEFINED?
Travelling costs: one return trip (max € 750)
Monthly allowance : Applicants have to provide an estimate of the costs of the stage according to the rules of the sending institution.
The maximum ENDURE contribution will not exceed that provided by the Marie Curie actions (depend on the seniority of the applicant and country of the hosting institution).
Hosting institution - contribution to expenses:
Bench-fees are not applicable.
The budget for each researcher will be defined and communicated before the start of the mobility period.
4. WHO REFUNDS MY MOBILITY EXPENSES?
During the mobility period, the visiting researcher will continue to be employed by his/her sending institution, i.e. ENDURE does not pay any salary.
Monthly allowance and/or accommodation and living expenses will be reimbursed directly by the sending institution according to its own internal rules.
The researcher will be refunded after the IA3 activity leader has approved and transmitted the Final Activity Report to the reference person of the specific sending organisation.
If the Final Activity Report is not provided or it is not approved by the IA3 activity leader, the researcher will not be refunded.
5. CAN I SPLIT MY MOBILITY PERIOD INTO SEVERAL VISITS?

7. CAN I SHORTEN MY MOBILITY?
YES, but be aware that…
8. CAN I USE MY MOBILITY TO VISIT AN INSTITUTION OUTSIDE THE ENDURE NETWORK?
Only in exceptional cases and if both the following clauses are respected:
9. WHY IS THE FINAL ACTIVITY REPORT SO IMPORTANT?
The researcher will be refunded after the IA3 activity leader has approved and transmitted the Final Activity Report to the reference person of the specific sending organisation.
If the Final Activity Report is not provided or it is not approved by the IA3 activity leader, the researcher will not be refunded.
The approved Final Report is mandatory for the sending institute to claim the mobility costs from ENDURE.
10. I CANNOT DO MY PLANNED MOBILITY: WHAT ARE THE OPTIONS?
Consider POSTPONING instead of renouncing.
Consider SHORTENING your mobility without hampering the planned research activity.
Your sending institution should consider PROPOSING A SUBSTITUTE , possibly of equivalent seniority.
