The New Advisers project will be offering one-day working sessions to advisory services in order to present the new professional tools and resources it has produced over the past two years. It is also staging a workshop in Hungary on September 11 and 12. Aimed at agronomic advisers, trainers, managers of extension services, agricultural researchers and policy makers, the workshop is entitled 'Innovative advice for less pesticide'.
Details of the one-day sessions are included in a recently produced New Advisers report containing details of the project's results and future activities. The report, which can be downloaded below, includes details of their work testing three facilitation tools in the countries involved in the project. These tools comprise discussion groups, problem-based learning and 'clear vision' interview techniques. For more details download the report below.
September's workshop in Budapest, Hungary, will provide eight hours of exchanges, starting with the studies conducted in some 10 countries, testimonies, information on European technical or regulatory devices and information on existing networks of advisers, etc.
