ENDURE and the ENDURE Network of Advisers, with the support of INRA, France, are holding a European workshop for European advisers on IPM.

The workshop will take place in the centre of Paris
  April 11 – April 12, 2012

The workshop will establish a European network of advisers on the implementation of IPM serving as a place where advisers:

• share experiences and knowledge
• collectively address the challenges of applying IPM
• express new opportunities and visions

ENDURE and INRA will cover the costs of meeting facilities, coffee breaks, dinner on April 11 and 1 night hotel accommodation.
Participants will cover their own travel costs.

Our expectations

This is a workshop. Fluency in English is required. We expect your active engagement during the two days.
We ask you to prepare to talk about the following:

• Examples of noteworthy IPM practice for relevant cropping systems in your country
• The challenges advisers face when encouraging low pesticide input management practices
• Any sort of barrier to IPM implementation you encounter as an adviser
• The conditions required to encourage transition toward reduced reliance on pesticides
• The ENDURE Information Centre and the ENDURE IPM Training Guide
• Other specific tools and resources needed to go further
