Leader: INRA
The final goal of IA1 is to unify the individual research programmes within ENDURE into a unique research programme for the whole network. IA1 activities thus aim at (i) harmonising research programmes among the ENDURE partners in order to cover unaddressed issues, to anticipate future potentials needs, to avoid overlaps and to draw objectives and research orientations that are consistent with the network’s, (ii) ensure durability of the network by setting up a common legal structure representing all participating organisations in the network and by getting the commitment of ENDURE partners and other institutions and (iii) strengthening the links beyond ENDURE in Europe (Crop Protection Network) and worldwide (INCO countries or Partners Outside Europe (POE)).
Leader: RRES
The overall objective is to establish a virtual laboratory which will (i) provide an infrastructure for overcoming the fragmentation that currently exists in the research communities as regards crop protection, (ii) create the scales of research input necessary to exploit new technologies, and (iii) ensure that all necessary scientific support is available for reducing and optimising the use of plant protection products.
Leader: CNR
The objective of IA3 is to strengthen the capacity and competitiveness of crop protection research in Europe by contributing to create a lasting crop protection community of research through an efficient mobility programme targeting both experienced scientists and younger researchers (PhD students and new post-docs) as well as a limited number of researchers from non-ENDURE partners.
Leader: JKI
The overall objective during the whole duration of ENDURE is to achieve a de-fragmentation of knowledge and its efficient organisation within ENDURE. Knowledge is available as explicit knowledge (written down or recorded, easily transferable and reusable, but requires effort to keep up-to-date) and as tacit or expert knowledge, which is ENDURE's domestic asset. To make it available for ENDURE, efficient organisation and appropriate tools for knowledge management are necessary.
