Get involved in agroecology youth forum

19, 2022

This Friday, April 22, marks the closing date for potential participants to complete their pre-survey questionnaires for the first Agroecology Europe Youth Network Forum which is being held in France from September 9 to 11.

The event, which has the backing of the European Youth Initiative for the Future of our Food and Agriculture (EURYFA) and agroecology-supporting Le Mouvement Sillage, is being held in the town of Rambouillet, 45km south of Paris.

The organisers write:

  • Let’s gather to celebrate young engagement in agroecology and create a space of exchange between engaged and interested young people from all over Europe in order to deepen our understanding of the agroecological transformation and present job opportunities in this field.
  • Let’s strengthen collaboration between different existing agroecological networks, exchange on experiences and lessons learned to kick-start new ideas for working together and initiating projects.
  • Let’s engage with the practical dimension of agroecology through field visits and exchanges with young farmers and reflect on challenges, opportunities and needs of young professional agroecologists.
