  AGRO 2010, which incorporates the XIth European Society of Agronomy Congress, is the Scientific International Week around Agronomy, which will offer a range of symposiums addressing agronomic research and its contribution to sustainable development.

• PotatoEurope 2010
  

  08-09 September 2010: Bockerode Estate, Hanover, Germany
  Around 200 exhibitors and 10,000 visitors are expected at this year's PotatoEurope event, which is being co-organised by the German Agricultural Society and will take place on the Bockerode Estate, some 30km south-west of Hanover.

• Sustainable Protection of Fruit Crops
  

  12-17 September 2010: Vico del Gargano, Italy
  A joint meeting of the IOBC's pome fruit arthropods and stone fruit sub-groups will be addressing 'Sustainable protection of fruit crops in the Mediterranean area' over the course of five days in Italy.

  19-21 September 2010: Bonn, Germany
  The University of Bonn's Faculty of Agriculture is organising the 3rd Conference on Precision Crop Protection, which takes as its theme the 'Use of Information Technologies for Precision Crop Protection'.

• 11th Int. Symposium: Ecology of Aphidophaga
  

  19-24 September 2010: Perugia, Italy
  The 11th International Symposium 'Ecology of Aphidophaga' will be held in Perugia, Italy, providing an international forum for the presentation and discussion of research on the biology, ecology and behaviour of organisms contributing to the mortality of aphids (Hemiptera Aphididae).

• 11th European Fusarium Seminar
  

  20-24 September 2010: Radzikow, Poland

  The 11th European Fusarium Seminar is being organised by ENDURE's Polish partner, the Plant Breeding and Acclimatization Institute based in Radzikow, near Warsaw, and will also include a presentation from INRA's Jean-Noël Aubertot on 'Modelling for crop protection against diseases'.

  26 September-01 October, 2010: Valencia, Spain
  Valencia in Spain plays host to the 8th International Symposium on Fruit Flies of Economic Importance, the first time the event, held once every four years, has been held in Europe since 1986.

• 5th Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting

  One of ENDURE's partners, the International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association (IBMA), is co-organising the 5th Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting, which will be held in Lucerne, Switzerland, this October.

• CropWorld 2010
  

  01-03 November 2010: London, England
  CropWorld 2010 will examine the 'business, science, trade and technology of sustainable global crop production' over the course of two and a half days at London's ExCeL confrence centre.

• IOBC Global WG Meetings
  

  01-05 November 2010: Nairobi, Kenya

  The IOBC will be combining two workshops in Nairobi, Kenya, with the 8th IOBC International Workshop on Biological Control and Management of Chromolaena odorata and Other Eupatorieae being held in conjunction with the 1st IOBC International Workshop on Biological Control and Management of Parthenium hysterophorus.
