Events calendar - check it out!
After the difficulties of staging events in 2020, a slew of conferences and meetings have been rescheduled for 2021, and some events, both new and reorganised, are including the possibility of virtual attendance or even introducing back-up plans that will allow organisers to move meetings to online-only events at short notice.
One example of a hybrid event is April’s Second International Congress of Biological Control (ICBC2), which is being held in Davos, Switzerland. Organisers are planning to offer both live and virtual participation for the event, with the capacity to move online only with six weeks’ notice.
Rescheduled events include the 14th International Conference on Plant Pathogenic Bacteria (ICPPB), in Italy, the 16th Congress of the Mediterranean Phytopathological Union (‘Safeguarding Mediterranean Plant Health’) in Cyprus, the 72nd International Symposium on Crop Protection (ISCP) in Belgium and Plant Biology Europe 2021 (formerly PBE 2020), which will now be a fully online event.
