ENDURE's research programme
The ENDURE Network's four-year programme started in January 2007 and falls into three categories: integrating activities (IA), jointly executed research activities (RA) and cross-fertilisation or spreading activities (SA). Consult the research programme.
About the ENDURE Information Centre
The ENDURE Information Centre (ENDURE IC) disseminates information on crop protection. It creates an overview of the ways sustainable crop protection can be implemented in European agriculture and is a central point of reference for extending expert knowledge, recommendations and advice for extension services, advisers and researchers concerning all aspects of crop protection. Download an explanatory leaflet (available in five languages), or go direct to the ENDURE Information Centre.
About the Virtual Laboratory
The Virtual Labortatory (VL) is a dynamic entity developed within ENDURE to support its research activities and the continuity of the network. It is due to go public in 2010. Find out more.
About the Two-Track System
ENDURE’s Two-Track System is a platform that makes it possible to exchange information between ENDURE and researchers outside the Network. It includes details of the workgroups of ENDURE and Crop Protection Network members, details of funding sources and an international database of experts. Find out more.

Summer School 2009
ENDURE’s 2009 Summer School, Modelling approaches to support Integrated Pest Management (IPM), was held in the Italian town of Volterra in June 15 and 20 and was organised by the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna of Pisa (SSSUP). Read all about it
ENDURE International Conference 2008
ENDURE staged its first international conference in October 2008 in southern France. Dedicated to the topic of Diversifying Crop Protection, the two and a half day conference attracted more than 120 presentations (oral and posters) from four continents. Go to Conference pages.

ENDURE's definition of IPM
Integrated Pest Management (IPM) creates synergies by integrating complementary methods drawing from an array of approaches including biocontrol agents, plant genetics, cultural and mechanical methods, biotechnologies, and information technologies, together with some pesticides that are still needed to address the most problematic pests and face critical situations. Information for partners outside Europe
ENDURE has a team devoted to encouraging and facilitating the involvement of scientists from outside Europe in its activities. In this section you will find useful information to enable you and your organisation to participate in the work of ENDURE. Get more information.
Events calendar
ENDURE members and others working in the field of crop protection may well be interested in our international events listings. Go to events.
Scientific contacts within ENDURE
Each partner in the ENDURE Network of Excellence has an appointed scientific representative. Find their names and institutions here, together with an email contact form. Go to Scientific contacts.
Working with ENDURE
In the Mobility and job opportunity pages you can find details of vacancies at ENDURE partner institutions and details of ENDURE's mobility programmes, which offer both internal and external mobility opportunities. Find out more.
