ENDURE Policy Briefs
ENDURE is determined to play a positive role in aiding European Member States which must ‘establish or support the establishment of necessary conditions for the implementation’ of Integrated Pest Management (IPM). A key part of the support ENDURE can offer policy makers is now reaching fruition with the publication of ENDURE Policy Briefs, a range of briefing documents designed to provide insights into the conditions necessary for the successful implementation of IPM. ENDURE's position on European pesticide policy

The European Commission officially adopted and published the Regulation concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market and the Directive establishing a framework for Community action to achieve the sustainable use of pesticides in November 2009. ENDURE's definition of Integrated Pest Management
Integrated Pest Management (IPM) creates synergies by integrating complementary methods drawing from an array of approaches including biocontrol agents, plant genetics, cultural and mechanical methods, biotechnologies, and information technologies, together with some pesticides that are still needed to address the most problematic pests and face critical situations.
