Nine new guides in the From Science to Field series produced by ENDURE’s case study teams are now available in Italian. They include leaflets focusing on potato, maize, maize based cropping systems and tomato.
The potato leaflets, which concentrate on various ways to combat late blight (Phytophthora infestans ), are available with full translations, while leaflets focusing on other crops are available with Italian summaries.
These include the maize leaflets examining non-chemical control of corn borers using Trichogramma or Bt maize, Integrated Pest Management for western corn rootworm and prevention of ear rots due to Fusarium spp.
The maize based cropping systems (MBCS) case study leaflet now available with an Italian summary examines MBCS in four European regions. In addition there is a leaflet in this series which concentrates specifically on Italian maize production: Strumenti innovativi di IPM raccomandati per sistemi colturali basati sul mais in Pianura Padana, Italia .
Last but not least, the leaflet from the tomato case study team evaluating tools for managing whiteflies in Europe is now available with an Italian summary.
