The organising committee for ENDURE's 2009 Summer School, Modelling approaches to support integrated pest management , has selected 16 students for the event and a further six substitute students in case any of the 16 do not confirm their participation before March 18.
Applications were first screened based on the following criteria:
Subsequently, applicants have been selected in order to have a wide geographical representation and to ensure their projects cover the various thematic areas that will be treated in the summer school.

Procedure for selected students:
1. B efore 18 March 2009: send an email confirming your participation in the Summer School to: endure.summerschool@sssup.it.
2. Before 18 March 2009: send us an email with your proposed travel plan to Pisa airport. Remember that we will pick you up at Pisa International Airport at around 18.00 on Sunday, June 14 and return you to the airport on the morning of Saturday, June 20 or the early evening of Friday, June 19, according to your departure time.

3. After approval of your travel plan, we will purchase the ticket and send it to the address that you have supplied, in case the ticket cannot be picked up by you directly at the airport at the time of departure. The Summer School organising board has the right to choose the best/most convenient travel plan based on the information received from students or any other available information.
4. Students who need a visa to travel to Italy must ensure they obtain it as soon as possible; Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna will only provide documents about the Summer School (travel and hosting).
5. Any communication regarding the general Summer School organisation will be through this website and via email. As soon as the lecturers have determined the final content of their lecture, you will find their abstracts, CV and recommended literature on the Programme page.
