AFPP, the French association for plant protection, has a new identity just ahead of this year’s 12th International Conference on Plant Diseases. From now, AFPP will be known as Végéphyl - Association pour la santé des végétaux (association for plant health).
The conference, being held on December 11 and 12 in the city of Tours, will address seven themes based on three fundamental questions in plant health.
These themes are pathogen biology, health quality of harvested crops, decision support tools, new specialities for the control of fungal diseases, alternative methods and biocontrol, varietal adaptation and the development of resistant cultivars, and adaptation to fungicides and anti-resistance strategies.
