Multilingual ENDURE IC: read the leaflets

June 24, 2010

You can now read about ENDURE’s Information Centre - the central point of reference for extending expert knowledge, recommendations and advice for extension services, advisers and researchers concerning all aspects of Integrated Pest Management - in a range of European languages.

The home page of the ENDURE Information Centre (ENDURE IC) is already offered in seven different languages and now leaflets explaining the role of ENDURE IC and ENDURE’s Network of Advisers, which brings together advisers across the continent, are available in English, French, German, Polish and Spanish.

The leaflets explain that ENDURE IC offers a searchable database offering results that are ready to use: they are scientifically sound, tested in the field, practical to adopt and cost-effective. Furthermore, experimental results which have the potential to provide a solution for a given problem but cannot yet be recommended as best practice, are also provided.

ENDURE’s Network of Advisers (ENA) offers free membership to anyone working in the agricultural advisory sector and dealing with crop protection issues on a daily basis. It has three main objectives:

  • Ensuring the results gathered by ENDURE are shared and implemented.
  • To act as a support network for ENDURE’s work groups: ENA is an integral part of ENDURE IC for example, helping to test and improve the service.
  • To ensure information is shared between countries and advisers across Europe, with a focus on IPM-based solutions to common agricultural problems.

You can read more about ENDURE IC and ENA by downloading the leaflets below. Alternatively, you can go direct to the ENDURE Information Centre.
